Sales / Business Development

 

Omega Plastics Corporation, a custom plastic extrusion design and manufacturing firm seeks top sales performer to lead developing and closing new customer sales. Omega serves various industries including agriculture, building products, fencing, railing, point of purchase and other custom applications for OEMs and proprietary products.

Only top sales performers need apply with minimum 5 years experience and proven track record building sustainable business. Job Responsibilities: 

  • Builds new customer relationships.
  • Represents Omega as a credible, professional technical problem-solver interested in resolving customer challenges.
  • Overcomes technical and business objections of prospective customers.
  • Makes outbound calls to prospective customers from sales leads generated from current contacts and marketing efforts.
  • Handles inbound sales lead calls to convert calls into sales in effort to raise company sales and market share.
  • Presents company benefits, quotations, credit terms, lead times, next steps for implementation, and introduces customer service and production staff who will be part of the customer team. Emphasizes products and services salable features.
  • Qualifies leads per company qualification screening process to fully inform internal staff to achieve optimal presentation of products and services to win business.
  • Provides product samples to qualified customers.
  • Responsible for gathering sales and marketing information about competitors and target customers while capturing information in CRM database.
  • Follows up on all quotes and sales presentations on a timely basis.
  • Estimates date of delivery to customer based on knowledge of company production and delivery schedule.
  • Travels nationally to customer locations, trade shows and business partners up to 70% on a consistent basis.

 

Compensation is based on salary plus commission.
